On Watching Rain

Drip, drip, drop, drop,

 the rain falls. No leafs

  are left standing to intercept

   the water anymore. There

Is no sun, only the idea

     of sun which may be

found beyond the thick blanket of clouds

       which covers the sky.

        Drop, drop, drip, drip,

bubbles of rain cling to cold branches a

strong wind could shake them, but there

is no strong wind. The winds are chilly,

but gentle, the winds allow the bubbles

             to stay.

              One day they might freeze.
